Yogi Bera was a catcher for the New York Yankees and a three time American League MVP. Although a good baseball player and also a good manager he is remembered by many for his malapropisms (humorous misuse of a word) that have been attributed to him.
Here are some that may interest or amuse you:
'It ain't over til it's over."
I didn't really say everything I said."
This is like deja vu all over again."
Baseball is 90% mental -- the other half is physical."
If you come to a fork in the road, take it."
It was impossible to get a conversation going; everybody was talking too much."
I made a wrong mistake
It ain't the heat; it's the humility."
