A fighter, who in the face of significant opposition from
unions, both local and national, from Democrats, both local and national, and
from media outlets, both local and national, Walker did not give in or fold but instead
took on the challenge.
In most local elections candidates only have to compete with
local opposition not national. Walker has paved the way for other elected
officials with similar opposition to compete and win.
I can’t help but think that Walker is cut from the same
cloth as Ronald Reagan and Margaret Thatcher.
