Two quotes from Hellen Keller that we should read and study and incorporate into our lives.
Helen Adams Keller was born
on June 27, 1880 in Tuscumbia, Alabama. In 1882, she fell ill and was struck blind,
deaf
and mute. Beginning in 1887, Keller's teacher, Anne Sullivan,
helped her make tremendous progress with her ability to communicate, and Keller
went on to college, graduating in 1904. During her lifetime, she
received many honors in recognition of her accomplishments
“The marvelous richness of human experience would lose something of rewarding joy if there were no limitations to overcome. The hilltop hour would not be half so wonderful if there were no dark valleys to traverse.”
- Helen Keller
“Character cannot be developed in ease and quiet. Only through experience of trial and suffering can the soul be strengthened, vision cleared, ambition inspired and success achieved.”
- Helen Keller
